The VME-PROF-M is a
complete PROFIBUS-DP Master Interface on a VMEbus board. The VME-PROF-M
enables your VMEbus-Systeme for use with PROFIBUS. So you can connect low
expensive, dezentrale Profibus I/O-modules.
The VME-PROF-M handles the complete Profibus communication protocol with
its FPGA, CPU and firmware including configuration and bus startup. On the
host side no Profibus special software is needed. The host CPU accesses the
continously updated I/O data in the Dualport-RAM (I/O-image).
